It seems a new Extreme Coupon blogger has decided to copy my grocery deals and steal my bandwidth. So I was swapping out images so they wouldn’t cost me more bandwidth than they already have. If you’re a new blogger, learn more about bandwidth theft from Phenomenal Women.

If you are this blogger and you know who you are, stop it! I spend hours every Tuesday getting my grocery deals typed, coupons searched and matched and to have you come over and lift for your own financial benefit is wrong. If you like my site so much highlight the deals and link back. Use your own bandwidth to host images but do not take images I personally have created. Yes, my stock up icon was created from scratch by me.

If you have a blog button from me please upload the image to your hosting account as I will be turning off the rights to use my bandwidth on other sites.

It seems my traffic has outgrown my current server and it’s been difficult to get posts up due the site timing out or lagging too much. Normally I can zip through the posting process but the last few days the back end section of the site has been crawling when I attempt to post. I am in talks with a new host and hopefully it will be a smooth transition so we can all start seeing the deals and save more money!

Update!

New server has been ordered and should be in effect sometime this coming week. Only a few days of dealing with lag if everything goes right!

The design is still coming along but I made some minor changes to the site. I moved the comments from the top of the post, under the title, to the bottom of the post. It didn’t seem natural to me to have to scroll up to comment when most of us are used to comments under the post entry. So from now on you will see the comment area below posts.

Next is the printing feature. I have added the print friendly feature to the social media buttons below the posts. Just look for this icon and click it to print. It will bring up a separate window that will allow you to edit the item out you don’t want. If you have a smartphone you can select email and it will send a link to your email that you can open once you’re at the store and just click the items to delete them as you place them in your basket.

I like the idea of the printable shopping list I had but it was honestly taking too much time when doing deals and it bogs the server down while using. So to be more efficient I will use Print Friendly until I compile or find something better.
