Looking to cook from scratch?

Then you’ve come to right place! Let me take a few moments away from coupons to talk about a really awesome blog called the $50 Stockpile. A dear friend of mine named Mindy runs the site and I can’t tell you how awesome she truly is. Mindy is a genius when it comes to being frugal on meats, produce and baking items. Not only does she give her terrific tip on what to stockpile each week with $50 but she offers up some great tried and tested recipes from scratch. I know you’re think it’s too hard and a major hassle, well like me, you’re wrong. Mindy tells it like it is and lays it out in a simple straight forward manner that even us undomesticated gals can follow. I can’t tell you how much of a blessing she has been to younger generations that are clueless in the kitchen. Heck she’s even shown us Gen-X’ers a thing a two are mother’s never taught us!

Stop procrastinating and try it for yourself, you’ll be glad you did! Between Coupon Sense and the $50 Stockpile you should really have a stocked pantry/freezer and wallet with money to spare.

Thanks for the plug, Tracy! I get worried that I’m repeating myself, but I was thinking that life is about the repeats. Next time I’m feeling philosophical, I’ll blog about that and you can wonder if I’ve taken leave of my senses. LOL!

No need to thank me, your blog rocks and speaks for itself! One by one you’re making all of us a bit more domesticated, well at least in the kitchen. ;)
