Here’s an interesting little freebie find this morning for becoming a product tester for As Seen on Tv! The following is from the website:

Throughout the month our team will select an item(s) and send it out for testing, FREE of CHARGE. We will randomly select an item(s), depending on the nature and category of the item(s). Applicants who register may have the opportunity to be Product Testers.

You will not pay a single penny for any item(s) you receive, and best of all as a Product Tester you get to keep the item(s) for FREE.

The only requirement we have is when you receive the item(s) you fill out a simple questionnaire. The questionnaire helps determined whether an item is worth manufacturing and marketing, consumers acceptance, changes needed in design, and/or if it should be made available for sale or continued being offered. That’s all there is to becoming a Product Tester.

CVS Buy $30 get $15 promo!

by Tracy on February 23, 2008

I know, you’re thinking hey wait, this a limited 1 only promo! Well my 19yr old son who lives on his own but still gets help from dear old mom when it comes to deals, trades offers with me sometimes or just plain has me accompany him in deal shopping since mom is the beholder of coupons. So we share our items, trade off or I just store them until he needs something since he’s living with friends until he gets a place of his very own. Anyways, here is what we picked up for him

6 Glade Air Infusions spray
4 Ziploc Freezer bags various sizes
4 Ziploc Twist n Lock containers (3 in each pack)
6 Palmolive detergent

Coupons were used for everything plus a $19.99 ECB from a previous shopping trip he did.

I was pretty proud of him, he paid $1.26 for those 20 items, basically the cost of 1 Palmolive with tax!

Safeway Rally Savings Promo!

by Tracy on February 18, 2008

I just back a couple of hours ago from the Safeway Rally promo where you get 25 participating items and you get $20 back. I know I could’ve picked different items for a cheaper price but the deal had some much needed items I needed to stock up on so I figured why not I only spent $12 so far for groceries this check and I’m still well within the amount we put aside. So I spent $30 and got back $20, not too bad since I only got items we use.

Here is what I got:

5 boxes Rice A Roni (Spanish flavor since I’m craving enchiladas)
5 boxes Pasta Roni (various flavors)
6 bags Betty Crocker Cookie Mix (3 Sugar & 3 Oatmeal Chocolate Chip)
6 boxes Betty Crocker Brownie Mix (various flavors)
1 gallon Clorox Bleach
1 Clorox Wipes
1 Reynolds Foils

Then I got the following not included in the deal:

3 bottles Propel Flavored Water FREE
2 bags of Eat Right Ceasar Salad B1G1

Like I said I paid $30 after coupons but for some reason my $20 coupon didn’t print so they verified I purchased all the correct sale items and they handed me a $20 bill so I spent $10 for all that!

Now I can go back since I found out S&W beans are part of the deal and get some of those with some more cookie mixes for a lesser price and get another $20 coupon!

CVS Buy $30 get $15 promo!

by Tracy on February 18, 2008

This was a great promo considering I needed air freshener and ziploc bags! I spent a whole $2.59, half was taxes. Here is a run down of what I purchased:

6 cans of Glade Air Infusions
8 boxes of Ziploc Freezer bags various sizes
4 packs of Ziploc Twist n Lock containers (3 in each pack)

I used coupons for everything plus a $20 ECB from a previous shopping trip.

I paid less that what 2 cans of Glade would’ve cost me since they were 2/$3.
